I finally finished them! Miira is Japanese for mummy. I made 5 this year not counting the 3 prototypes. Their kimono are made of mummy wrappings and each one holds a sterling silver ankh ( Egyptian symbol for life). While they're all the same basic design, each one still retains her own individuality...

I can't believe it's been around 8 months since I worked on the torch. I moved into the Armory Arts Village, finally was able to get some studio space and get ventilation hooked up and am now working on a bigger, hotter torch ( The Lynx). I love my new torch but still getting the hang of it....

This is an exciting piece to me. I display many of my beads as sculpture. Sometimes I make pedestals for them. And! I would do more pedestals. I have realized that is another art form. In time... This Goddess makes a nice pendant too. thanks for looking!
