Hi Yesbeads, a) your Lortone rotary tumbler is THE classic rock tumbler. Jewelers use it with steel shot to burnish metal and rockhounds use it with silicon carbide grit to tumble stones. b) it's the perfect thing to use for what you want to do and the chunks of glass won't hurt the rubber barrel...
