  • 2008 Halloween Geisha- Miira

    I finally finished them! Miira is Japanese for mummy. I made 5 this year not counting the 3 prototypes. Their kimono are made of mummy wrappings and each one holds a sterling silver ankh ( Egyptian symbol for life). While they're all the same basic design, each one still retains her own individuality...

  • Kasumi and Nanami

    Here are a couple geisha that I've had held back in my own collection, I made them in 2007. Nanami is a koi geisha similar to the ones I used in my "Koi Sisters" necklace that won 1st place at Delphi in 2007. This scale design was difficult to do (for me anyway) especially on white glass...

  • "Within"~glass focal~sculpture

    I do not think I have ever shared one of my "Within" beads here before... this is a piece I have been sculpting for 11 years. It has been a 30" tall clay sculpture, plaster, wax, and bronze....today, I sculpt glass....Enjoy! (Put this one on Ebay too!)
