  • 2008 Halloween Geisha- Miira

    I finally finished them! Miira is Japanese for mummy. I made 5 this year not counting the 3 prototypes. Their kimono are made of mummy wrappings and each one holds a sterling silver ankh ( Egyptian symbol for life). While they're all the same basic design, each one still retains her own individuality...

    This sentinel is named Iole, Greek for violet. It watches over a beautiful blue-violet colored nebula. The interstellar clouds of plasma, gases and dust swirl around brighter areas, the birthplace of stars... Thank you for looking! ~Tracy

  • I'm Back! More geisha focals...

    I can't believe it's been around 8 months since I worked on the torch. I moved into the Armory Arts Village, finally was able to get some studio space and get ventilation hooked up and am now working on a bigger, hotter torch ( The Lynx). I love my new torch but still getting the hang of it....
