I loved Pandora beads so much that I started importing, wholesaling and retailing them. My website is http://www.beadsanddangles.com. Providing the best quality beads I can find, both in sterling silver and silver plate, and combining that with outstanding customer service that is second to none are...

  • Re: Bowlerite & Fordite, recycled Fab Faux Focals & Cabs! 2010

HI folks! It's been a bit of a crazy summer but I'm keeping going! @ Pennee101 : *I* call it bowlerite because I make it out of actual old bowling balls! And NO, I don't make it originally from liquid, it is all hand carved using my lapidary saws, grinders, sanders, and polishers by cutting...

  • Re: what do you call yourself?

Great thread! I usually start with, "Well, I melt glass in a torch to make beads and jewelry" If I get a gasp of air as a response I know I'm in for a good conversation. I just LOVE talking to people about it! I probably consider myself an "artisan" but you can call me whatever...

  • Re: Buying supplies

I buy from a lot of different sources but recently I've been purchasing my high-end Swarovski Crystals online from Persona World . They have this area on their website where you can build bracelets so I use that to see how their new beads will look with older beads that I already have. Regardless...

  • Re: what do you call yourself?

Interesting topic here. I have been beading for over a decade and I don't know quite what to refer to myself as. Like "Kipper Cat" and "Sandsy" I have told people I "bead" therefore I'm a "beader" but beyond that I don't know. I dislike the title of...

  • Re: What's in your stash?

Sounds great! A snap on lid is precisely what I'm looking for. And a wheeling cart sounds good too. Right now I sort of have a corner cabinet where everything is. I really need to set-up some real space or have some portable space like a cart. Thanks for the suggestions!

  • Re: Buying supplies

All of these are great sites, looking at them is making me itch to go shopping. There is just one question I have, and I'm afraid it might sound a little silly. How do you know you are getting a good deal? Is there a way to judge a set of prices of what is good and what isn't? I have only bought...
