A high-fire stoneware clay cabochon embossed with a just-picked blackberry leaf was the inspiration for my pendant. I surrounded the cab, created by Helen O’Donnell of Embroidered Soul, with a seed bead peyote stitch bezel and loop bail. Czech three-cuts and Japanese triangle beads form the embellishment. My spiral stitch rope incorporates Greek ceramic tube beads to simulate blackberry canes.
