When I completed this piece, it reminded me of the sea. I incorporated pieces of paua shell, dichroic glass, dyed freshwater pearls, and cylinder and seed beads. I stitched them all together using stringing, peyote stitch, picot fringe, and free-form beading. Jama Watts, Lebanon, Ky., jamawatts.com
