I am "just" a hobbyist beader and wire-worker. I have been beading (stringing, not weaving) for about 2 years now, introduced to the hobby by a friend. She took me to a wonderful store near Chapel Hill, NC, called the Original Ornament where you could make jewelry there and the employees helped finish the pieces for you. I was quickly hooked. Now I have started playing with wire. I have started selling a few pieces to people at work, but generally I just play with my beads and wire for fun, giving my creations to family.
