Sheila Morley's Profile

About Sheila Morley

After studying and practicing art through my childhood, I received a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in 1997, from Michigan State University. My emphasis was on Large Figurative sculptural objects made with metal, clay and various craft mediums. My sculpture pieces are about art, passion, human thought, obsession; emotional experiences and beliefs. While the emphasis on my work today, is still to have meaning, creating beads gave my work a practical function. I push the definition of a bead by creating sculptural objects with them. I am a member of Glass act, and the International Society of glass bead makers. I am a rather large supporter of the Contemporary Art Glass movement. All of my work is one of a kind. I am a self representing Artist living in Michigan. My work is for sale on her website, Ebay, Etsy, and various shops and shows in Michigan. I am looking forward to a future of outside representation.
