About Kay-Sea
Born and raised in Miami, FL -- Spent my 20's in Montpelier,VT working for a large insurance company -- Moved back to FL (Sarasota) at age 29. Met & married my beloved husband, and moved to the Asheville, NC area during the summer of 1986 and have stayed put ever since.
We built our own home on about 5 acres of mountain land and moved in 05/15/03. No kids, 2 cats... hummm, what else?
Diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in March 2010. It's given my right arm/hand & leg/foot some wicked tremors that I hope medication will tame -- of course, that's the hand my beading needle is held in, so I'm experimenting with holding it in my left hand. Slow going, but it's fun to watch.
