I started beading about 2 years ago as a hobby to pass the time when I was not busy in my (contemporary) furniture and homewares shop - where I began to sell the pieces I made. The hobby grew into a passion and I now design and make jewellery full-time as I sold the lease to my shop last August. At the moment, I am particularly interested in all forms of beadwork (ie. stitches, stringing etc.) and love trying new techniques. I have also just developed a passion for polymer clay! I also love gardening and often find this interest creeps into my designs. I am married ( since 1972) and have no children, but a lovely little ginger cat. I live in Brighton, England and can see the sea from every window - a great inspiration!
