    Hello! New Member from Texas

Hello everyone!  I started my own business and did not know anything.  I love making beaded necklaces and bracelets.  I just don't know where to sell them now that I have so many.  I am looking for affordable advertising hints if anyone has any I would appreciate some ideas.   I have already sold to all my friends and neighbors and would just like to get the word out about my cool designs.Anyway, it is very hot here in Texas so the best way to cool down is to make jewelry in the air conditioning.

I have been viewing this site for sometime and well just jumped in and I'm glad I have.  Send me an e-mail if anyone wants to chat or trade bead ideas.

    Hi,

I am new here also.  I have been beeding for many years now and am just getting into the selling of my jewelry.  I do mostly stringing but I a going to branch out and try my hand at making my own glass lampwork beads.

I have a sister that just moved to TX, Corpus Cristi.  She is having a hard time getting used to the heat there.

Looking forward to being able to share ideas with you and everyone else when I can.

Hi there...I can't say I have great advise but I have sold a few pieces on ebay - I also sell other stuff on ebay and have a  ebay store (sweetcindylou62) and when I list my "stuff" I intermingle my jewelry.  I had made alot of bracelets and have been posting them.  I am trying to make myself get of the box a bit and try some more adventurous stuff.  Lord knows I have enough beads, just not enough time to sit and do what I would like with my other real life responsibilities!  I keep hoping my ebay stuff will grow and between that and beading I can make a go at it and only work full time.  That won't take place for at least a year because my husband is in college fulltime, getting a new degree after a work injury and once he gets going to work next year that might expand my possibilities!

I would love to see some of your stuff (mine is being posted in my ebay store as I get time to create).\

Also where in Texas are you?  I lived in Lubbock for 9 years and then the DFW metroplex for 5 before moving back to New York in 1995.  Hey - it is a small world, ya never know!

    later, cindy
