Fireline, Smoke, 10lb test?
Can anyone tell me where I can find this? I have tried many places and it seems they only have 6 or 8 lb test. The Berkley site does not ship to Canada. If FMG, for example, has it (I haven't looked) I can't order from them as they charge too much for shipping.

Hi Jane
I get mine from Canadian Tire & the smallest I can get is 6 lb test. Walmart did carry it here for a while but don't have it any more. You might try the fishing tackle stores in your area as well. The #6 works well & goes through 11 seed beads 3 or 4 times.

You might give this link a try http://buyitcanada.com or do a search on Google and type in fishing supplies in Canada. This will give you several places to purchase the 10# fireline.

I found some in Manitoba at sirmailorder.com. It is somehow connected to cabelas. I think it cost about $5. more than cabela's but cabela's shipping was a bit more. It should get here faster, though.

If you don't want to pay extra shipping, you can ask to special order some at a tackle or sporting goods shop. They will most likely order it for you, for no extra charge, as long as you don't mind waiting for it to come in with their next shipment.

I ordered some from sirmailorder.com some kind of offshoot of Cabella's in Canada. When you call them, they answer with 'Cabellas'. I had to call because I hadn't heard anything, no confirmation email that they received my order or that it was shipped. I called the Wednesday after placing my order the previous Friday. They said my order was received in shipping that day and would be sent that day. Friday, a week after placing my order, I received an email saying it had shipped that day. It took a week from the online order to have it shipped. I thought by ordering in Canada I would receive it faster but obviously not. I very much doubt I will order from there again.

Do you have ***'s Sporting Goods in Canada? Here in New Jersey, they have all the lbs. and colors. Hope this helps.
