Beads that look nice with Unakite?

I am wanting to start a project ( necklace, earrings ) using Unakite beads. What other beads look great with these? Please send me ideas.

Hmm I have used green Jades, dark Garnets, green Turquoise, but mostly I use it alone. It is a hard stone to mary because of the matrix.

After doing some research online, I have found the following beads have been used in designs including unakite. ( Green jade, green turq., rose quartz, peridot, peridot colored crystals, sunstone, goldstone, green jasper, wood beads, cherry quartz, czech glass, pink coral, red sponge coral, black onyx, hematite, olivine colored crystals, copper green opal )

Some of these looked great and I would have never thought to use some of these beads until seeing them incorporated into the designs.

Thanks for replying to this message and giving great ideas.

I've made a number of pieces using unakite because, for one thing, it's been associated lore-wise with encouraging pregnancy and wishful thinking or whatever, it worked for my sister in law! I've found it looks wonderful with peach moonstone (another woman-nurturing stone, lore-wise) and that's interesting because I subsequently learned that the pink-peach color in unakite is feldspar, which of course is what the moonstone is. . . since there is less of the pink-peach in the stone, that's the color I usually try to pair with it, to help balance the green. You could look into agates in those same shades -- peach aventurine. Sunstone is a good suggestion too. I find unakite to have such a fun, friendly energy: have fun with it! Jan
