Hi all! I'm looking for patterns to make netted beaded ornaments. I have found one on rubysbeadwork.com, but I've pretty much mastered it. I don't think i'm creative enough to make variations to the one I already have. If any of you have any ideas about where i can find this, please let me know!

 Hi Ashley, the netting stitch can be made very simple or very elegant and complex, you can build on the basic by using different combinations of beads, grouping of beads etc. Here is an odd shaped ornament with netting stitch it might get the creative juices moving for you, or give you the little push to just go and try something to see if it will work.  We all don' t produce the perfect ornament cover on the first run.  If you are not sure make it and take it apart, that's what I do.

You'll want to get some of those glass ornaments they have at Michael's or something - the simple plain Xmas balls...and you want lots of thread.... and I personally like just plain ole czech seed beads instead of delicas for these. Oh, and you want kinda longer beading needles instead of the short ones...

There are a few books out there  - just put "beaded chrstmas ornaments" into the search bar at Amazon and you'll find plenty :)
