How to post an image . . .
In order to post images, you first need to have a
place that will host your pictures. You may want to check with your ISP
(Internet Service Providers - example: AOL, MSN, Earthlink, etc.). Most
ISPs provide their customers with 5-10MB of space for the purpose of
hosting personal web pages and pictures. Other Web sites that host pictures include:
Once you have a host for your pictures, you will need the URL or the location/address of the image.
A URL looks something like this:
http://www.beadandbutton.com/bnb/objects/images/bnb070401.jpg
To post an image:
1.) Click on the "Insert/edit image" button, located on the forum tool bar. (It looks like a tree against a blue background.)
2.) Copy your photo's URL and paste it into the "Image URL" box.
3.) Click "Insert."
4.) Your photo should appear, like this

NOTE: The new forum software does not display a tool bar if you have
a Mac and use Safari. If you have a Mac, please use Firefox for your
browser while participating on the forum. If you prefer to use Safari,
you will need to format your posts and insert images using HTML.
