Does anyone buy their bead crochet thread at Michaels or JoAnns?  If so, what do you use?  I can buy them on line, but I'm in the craft stores so often that I was wondering if their thread is okay.

yes you can get thread fro bead crochet from Michaels or JoAnns.  I use the coats & clark button and craft thread.

I use nylon upholstery thread.  Most fabric stores carry it.  Comes in colors and is very strong.

 I got mine at Joanne's.  I used the Perle Cotton, in balls instead of hanks.  I've never had a problem with it, and have done a load of bead crochet & bead knitting with it.   

I've got a bunch that I'm thinking of selling, though, since I've moved away from the technique and just have to make some room in this studio.  If you'd like to trade for something, then I'd be happy to send it to you instead.
