Freeform bracelet with Paula shell cabochon

This is my first ever entry into the Etsy Beadweaver's Monthy challenge - the theme is "A Midsummer Nights Dream"

I took this as an opportunity to use up some of those blue beads that seem to be more abundant than any other color of bead I have.
It was a lot of fun making this bracelet...freeform is just picking up the needle and seeing what happens!
I used about 16 different colors, including delica seed beads, toho seed beads, swarovski crystals, bugle beads, and a few glass beads. A beaded toggle clasp blends seamlessly into the design, and the focal cabochon is an abalone/paula shell, encased in woven seed beads.

Please take a second and vote for your favorite (even if it's not mine). But I'm #24, just so you know.  =)

Oh it is lovely - like a refreshing stream or a cool evening breeze.  I too gravitate toward blues and it dominates my stash!

That is so beautiful. I love the color blue and you did a great job blending the different color blues.

I just voted for you. Good luck.

OT: Where did you get that display hand from?

    Very nice color choices!

I could see one being created in rich purples & golds too!

It's very beautiful!! Great job with the colors.

I also have  thing for the blues...and purples. I have twice as many of them as anything else.
