    Hi from Arizona!

I finally discovered the forums!  I am so glad they are here for us.  Thanks.  I hope to hear from other beaders soon.

I've only been beading for about a year but love learning new things.  I still have to back to basics to find out how to do some things but I am trying to finish projects faster so I'll remember more.  Repetition is what helps the most.  I always have a hard time making up my mind what project to try next.  I really like instructions that have a lot of illustrations.  The pattern is so much clearer to me that way.

Since it is so hot this time of year I do a lot of crafts at home in the air-conditioning.  Also since gas prices are high I try and keep stocked up on beads.  Material lists are a great help and I love Bead & Button Magazine!

Greetings.  I completely understand about the weather as I live in Florida. It is hot and rainy here lately. Also have tried to stock up more on beads, etc. for projects to work on this summer and until the next big bead show comes to town. I have been beading for about two years and am also learning something new all the time. Stay cool and happy beading!

Hi - Welcome to the beading world.  Sounds like you're already addicted   Wait until the Gem Show comes to Tucson the end of January.  It's like a kid in a candy shop.  Take lots of money - lol.  Hope you get to go.
