    Problems with Colossal components

So I started working on the rings from Colossal components and I am having fits.  It is not looking anything like the picture.  Anyone else working on this one?  Do you know of another project similiar that I can purchase their instructions?  I am using round seed beads instead of the triangle beads, but I don't think that would affect the outcome.  Any suggestions or tips that you found to work for you?

I would really like to make a bracelet made up of connected rings.

    Thanks,

    Susan in MD

    Hi Susan,

Sorry to hear this project is frustrating you. The triangle shape of the bead is important in this project because the beads aren't supposed to nestle together nicely like round beads usually do. The triangles buckle a bit and give the chunky rings their textured look. What size of seed beads are you using? If you can be more specific about what you are having problems with, I may be able to help you better. Also, I used very tight tension when I stitched these rings, and they make rather large links.
