    Touching-beaded technique

In the June 2002 issue of Bead & Button on p.25 under "Your Work" there is a gorgeous green necklace that was made using the "touching-beaded" technique that was learned in Japan.  Do any of you know of a source for this pattern?

    Thanks, Sandi

"Touching-beading" is a Japanese version of tatting, a lace-making technique. While we don't know of a pattern for this particular necklace, there will be a tatting project in our October 2008 issue, and you can learn the basics.
