Need help on Navajo Earrings - stich?

I've got the loom figured out, but now want to learn how to make diamond shape objects for earrings.

    see example of shape: http://www.michaels.com/online/images/product/large/gc0739.jpg

Can this be done on a loom? Is this a particular stitch? Not familiar on how to create non-square/rectangle shapes and kepping it all tied together as a shape changes from thin to thick. Please help!

    Thank you so much

I wasn't able to see the picture but I think the earrings you are talking about are done in brick stitch.

The best instructions I found for you are on dragon's site....... http://www.uniquebeadedjewelry.com/stitchinfo/brick.html

I hope this is what you were looking for
