I would think if you have a bead pattern program, you could do this, however, it would take some manual work to refine the pattern into  what it is supposed to look like.

I would see if you could find a cross stitch pattern, that was simular to what you need.

Cross stitch is super easy to convert to loom work.  But I have taken cross stitch patterns & adjusted them peyote, so I'm sure the reverse could work too. But I physically have to draw out each dot, to get everything to work out right.

I have a program called Bead Tool 3.  It is a marvelous program for designing patterns.  You can create any pattern you want, in any stitch you want (loom, square, peyote, peyote 2-drop, etc).  Then you have the ability to change your peyote pattern to a loom pattern, or your peyote 3-drop to square.  Bead Tool 3 offers a free download to see if you like the program and the support is wonderful.  There is also a forum available.

I, too, am an addicted BeadTool3 user. I should have mentioned using that in my first reply. I love this program and have been using it since the beginning.

I do want to add, that it does takes a bit of manual tweaking to get a peyote pattern converted to a loom pattern, with this program, but well worth it to get what you want. It is the easiest bead program I have used and or tried.

There is one program that I own, never use and was a waste of more than I care to admit moneywise. I learned my lesson the hard way.

There are so many ways to create patterns, even in Paint, so if the pattern isn't anything too special, maybe you could just find something similar and make another for the loom.

Just a suggestion! I make all my patterns either by drawing them or using Paint. Not the best way, but I am not good with change!

I have not seen this book before. But any book with good photos can inspire new and great ideas. It is not necessary to always be able to read directions. I have lots of books. I love to see what others are doing.

This may be an older thread, but I only recently solved the dilema! I wanted to try some tricks before posting! You turn the loom pattern on the diagonal and work it that way!! It works perfectly!
