    First Post About Polymer Clay!

Wow, I get to the first poster ever about polymer clay on the Bead & Button forum!!! I don't know if I'll be in all the forums of just stick to Art Jewelry. Seems like a lot of work as opposed to before when we were all together.

Anywho... polymer clay ROCKS and I hope that in the coming year(s) we can help spread the word and get this material used in more designs by non-clayers and purchased by more jewelry consumers. PC should be mainstream and it's up to us to make it so.

At least we know to start looking for other people.  I am not sure which forum I will post more in.  I really miss being able to post once and have it show up on all the forums.

I agree that POLYMER CLAY ROCKS!

I'm with you guys.  I think I'm going to hang at Art Jewelry mostly.  I had enough trouble keeping track of where things were in the old forum (i.e. Beaders Helping Beaders vs. Bead Talk as one example of confusing) - I don't think I can add another layer on top of that.  I wish we could post in one place and have it automatically show up in both.

there is a group on Yahoo called PC People, which just didn't do it for me. there is also a Delphi group through Polymer Clay Central, which I like. I loved our forum the most, by far, for a few reasons, one of which is you could read about other types of jewelry arts. these other sites are strictly PC. I think we can make this work if we just try and forget how good our original set up was...

Welcome back! I've been hanging out in the Art Jewelry Forum.  On my first visit to the new Bead and Button there wasn't a Polymer Clay category.

I try to wear my polymer clay creations everytime I go out shopping or other places and it's amazing the number of comments I get.  Usually it's something like "That's made of what???" And then I get to expound on the subject and  hand out a business card.  The great thing about our medium is that it doesn't have to take a large investment to get started, and it's so versatile.  Jeanie

oooooh! there's PC here in B&B!  but there's already so much more going on in Art Jewelry, so I guess i'll keep posting there.

if this category was here early on, i would have stayed here in B&B.

see you guys in Art Jewelry!

And someday, really, truly, I intend to play with the stuff.  As it is, it's just easier to pick up some beads I already have and get to work beading.  But I have everything I need to play with it.  Just need to find some empty hours!

I agree with you on that one, honestly B&B is not my favorite of all the magazines, but it is the one that I probably go on the most.

I think that it is nice for some reasons, but it would be nice to have the choice on to which of the sites you wish to have it post too!
