It's been awhile since I've posted.  I was hoping to get some displays and do a few nice photos, but it's taking forever, so I just took some shots anyway.  I made this a few weeks back, inspired by a tree in the courtyard outside our living room window.

Many, many beads!  The entire rope is about 40 inches long...I've been avoiding tubular herringbone ever since!  I did decide to split up the techniques and write a tutorial for making the necklace and a bracelet with a holiday twist on my new page Variety Beading: Christmas Projects.  Otherwise, I think I need a break from long, long necklaces for awhile!
