We love buttons here at the magazine, as you can tell by looking at our August issue, which features four button projects. But we wanted to do more button projects, so we challenged our editors to design more jewelry using buttons. Five of our editors met the challenge and we’ve posted the instructions for them – easy earring projects by Lesley Weiss and Anna Draeger and necklaces by Stacy Hillmer, Tea Benduhn, and yours truly – under the Free Projects tab. Plus, we've also published a special star knot button by Robert Black you can learn to tie.

We've been posting lots of bonus Free Projects lately.  On of my favorites is the gorgeous earrings Irina Miech made to go with her metal clay pendant that appeared in the August issue.
