Keep the Bead Museum open

We lost the bead museum in D.C., let's not lose the one in Arizona! The museum is not a static place where the same objects are on display for all time. It's very much alive and active. It's a fantastic resource for the bead community, the general public, and children, with changing exhibits that further contemporary art and beadmaking, research, school programs, lectures, a major research library, classes, and special projects. The museum has been careful with its financial resources, cutting expenses and rationing hours, but it needs help from the larger community. Here is a link to a letter from Suzy Flint that you can read, and here is a list of things that you can do to help, in addition to giving a donation. Be sure to visit the museum in Glendale whenever you are in Arizona. Current exhibits are listed here.
