The Spiral Peyote bracelet project shown in the August 2008 Stitch Workshop happened to be one of those projects where I was able to use some tubes of leftover beads from the Bead&Button store room. Here is a list of colors I used for the project, which uses the technique of tubular peyote. This project is posted under Current Issue, Resource Guide,
which you can get to by clicking on the Magazines tab on our home page.
I used four different beads: size 11 seed beads (#f356b), size 10 triangles (#460D), and size 6 seed beads (#639). These all came from Knot Just Beads in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin (414) 771-8360. I also used size 8 seed beads that no longer had the number on the container. My best guess is that it is color Medium Amethyst Transparent Rainbow Matte. I looked up that color on Bobby Bead's Web site and came up with #166DF. But, as you know, it is hard to track down colors and color order numbers once the beads are separated from their package because different stores may or may not use the manufacturer's colors or numbers.
