The Bead Database

We all like diving through our bead stashes, but if you’re like me, you LOVE diving through other peoples’ collections. Now here’s an idea — what if there was a worldwide bead stash that anybody could pick through, any time, any where? Believe it or not, it exists!

The Bead Database is an online gallery of fabulous bead pictures uploaded by beaders and collectors from around the world. Once you enter the Bead Database, you can choose to browse four albums: the Beads album houses 81 pages of every imaginable kind of bead; the Contemporary Beadmakers album shows off cutting-edge works; the Student Beadmakers album keeps an eye on new talent; and the Bead ID album is where beaders post pictures of beads they want to know more about.

By registering in the Bead Database, you can add your own pictures to the collection or view and leave comments about the beads already in the database. But you don’t have to register to bask in the stash, so check it out!
