Bead&Button show reflections

Although it’s been more than a week since the Bead&Button show, I find I’m still reflecting on several aspects I encountered while there. One of the things that struck me most was all of the positive feedback. I’m always looking for ways to grow and improve, but, from time to time, it’s nice to hear that I’m a member of a team that’s right on target.

Also, I still have this to say: Beads, beads, beads! There’s no comparison for the zinging thrill you can get from seeing so many different kinds of beads on display in one huge room. (Plus the opportunity to add to the bead stash.)

People really were friendly, too. It was exciting to be around so many people who were as equally excited about beads, beading, and meeting each other as our staff was to participate and meet our readers.

To everyone who made it this year: Thank you! For those of you who didn’t, I hope to see you next time around!
