Bead&Button in the news

You know you’re popular when you’re mentioned in the media. Of course, this usually happens in the context of a story being about you or in a beading blog or even being listed in an events calendar.

But what about when a friend forwards you a story from your local newspaper, and it just happens to be about something completely unrelated to beads, yet there you are: mentioned at the very end, almost as an afterthought, and as part of the joke, because, apparently, you’re so popular that everyone reading the story will know exactly what the reporter is talking about? Now that’s a good measure of success!
