Enter a Bead Society jewelry-design contest

The Bead Society of Greater Washington and the Bead Museum in Washington. D.C. have launched the first annual International Juried Jewelry Design Competition. The contest has 12 categories and a deadline of July 25, 2008, so you have a little time to work on your designs. You can meet Carrie Johnson, the chair of the contest, at a Bead Museum table outside the Bead Marketplace at the Bead&Button Show. Carrie will also attend the show's Meet the Teachers Reception on Wednesday evening (look for  Susan Lenart Kazmer's table). You can find all the information about the competition on the bead society's Web site: http://www.bsgw.org.
