Following the criteria of our contest guidelines is one area we look at when deciding on finalists for the Bead Dreams competition. And although we are continually amazed at the creativity and obvious thought that goes into each work of art, we were surprised to see one finalist send their work to us in a dog biscuit box. When Lora opened the box, we were more amazed to find that there was a dog biscuit inside! I can show you the photo of the packaging, and I'll bet at the Bead&Button Show you will be able to match up the box with the work that made it into the final cut of the competition. If you won't be at the show, you'll see the photographs of the finalists and winners in the Your Work section of the October 2008 issue of Bead&Button.
