Send us your Bead&Button Show Bead jewelry design

Here’s a chance to show off your work in the magazine. Send your original finished jewelry piece using the 2008 Bead&Button Show bead to Bead&Button. We’ll photograph it and include it in the Your Work section in the December issue. Send your piece no later than July 1 to Bead&Button Show Bead, 21027 Crossroads Circle, P.O. Box 1612, Waukesha, WI 53187-1612. Include your full name, address, phone number, and e-mail address, plus the title of your piece. Be sure to pack your piece carefully. It will be returned by the end of October. The show bead can be found online by clicking here. We can’t wait to see your work! Here's a photo of the necklace that Bead&Button Associate Editor Lynne Soto made with the bead, which was lampworked by Kim Fields.

I am a hand pounded copper earring artist. I started designing the gemstone jewelry and needed an artistic edge....Would you be interested in copper or gemstone. I have unique pieces in both.

    Hi Angie,

I'm intrigued by incorporating copper with the Bead&Button Show bead!  We're looking primarily for beadwork that uses the Bead&Button Show bead in a jewelry project.  Most of our readers do bead stitching, so that will be the main focus.  We'll probably be able to publish other designs with the bead, like strung jewelry — unless we get inundated with too many designs for the amount of space.  I hope this helps!
