I'm thrilled with all the readers letting me know how much they are looking forward to making "Refined rings" in the April 2008 issue of Bead&Button. Unfortunately everyone seems to be having a little difficulty finding the hematite rings. Well, first of all I really did buy these rings in bulk from a tent on the side of the road in Tucson several years ago. Since then, I have seen them in many bead stores, but it would probably be best to just order them if your local bead shop doesn't carry them. My design will accommodate slight variations in sizes, and you could always chance the bead count in the peyote ring or the netting to adjust to another size ring.
