This week I received a notice of the winners of the 2007 All Dolled Up: Beaded Art Doll Competition. The competition was sponsored by Land of Odds, Be Dazzled Beads, The Open Window Gallery, and The Center for Beadwork & Jewelry Arts. This year’s theme was “Celestial Reflections.”
The winners were Teresa Hon and Connie Davis of Platte City, Missouri for their entry titled “Sivad.” To view the winning entry click here. The six semi-finalist entries are also displayed on the Land of Odds Web site, click here.
These entries are wonderful examples of the many ways beads can be incorporated into all varieties of artwork.
