A couple of years ago, some of my work was featured in a Japanese beading book. I was so pleased to be featured along with other leading American bead artists, and I humbly signed autographs for several Japanese students who brought their copies of the book to the Bead&Button Show. I also happily accepted an invitation to be featured in Bead Friend, a Japanese beading magazine. I would just love to travel to Japan (perhaps one day), but for now my beadwork will have to precede me, and maybe open up an opportunity for future travel plans.
