One bead quilt square down ...

I've just finished a square for the Bead Artists Against Breast Cancer quilt. Thanks to Jill Devon and Liz Thornton, two well-known bead artists in the UK, I was able to embellish my square with a floral design from their new book, The Beader's Floral. They graciously gave me permission to use the book for the bead quilt, and my first quilt square turned out nicely. You can find more information about the book at www.2beadwrite.com and www.beadmerchant.co.uk. You can e-mail Liz at eathornton@btinternet.com. We covered the quilt project and 2008 Bead&Button Show auction in the October issue of the magazine. The Beader's Floral is mentioned in the February issue and we have a project of Jill's to share with you in the June 2008 issue.
