I'd like to announce my first column! It's posted under the "How To" tab. Thanks to Debbie Melter for supplying me with a question about incorporating art-glass beads into a spiral rope necklace. Her question prompted me to finally use these beautiful beads by glass artist Scott Bouwens, bearfootart.com, which I got from the Bead & Button Show in 2007. I had been trying to decide what I wanted to do with his lovely beads. Now I have a fabulous necklace and hopefully supplied Debbie with some helpful information.
