Project submissions advance beading

We receive a number of proposals each month from designers who submit projects for Bead&Button and BeadAndButton.com. The editorial staff meets as a team to review these proposals. We look for originality, unusual combinations of techniques and materials, attractive color palettes, craftsmanship, and balanced design. We love to make a new discovery of an unpublished designer, and at the same time, are eager to see what’s inside a package sent by a longtime contributor.

You may have noticed that beading techniques have become ever more advanced and sophisticated in the past dozen years. At Bead&Button, we have always believed that our mission is to help advance the quality and artistry of beadwork by presenting and sharing it with the beading community. We hope to draw more people to beading as well.

If you would like to submit a proposal, please read our submission guidelines to learn how to do it and what kinds of work to send. Click on “Submitting to the magazine” under “Magazines” on BeadAndButton.com.
