I started silversmithing about 10 years ago. I use the local college, who run a course every term. It's cheaper than setting up a workshop, and I have access to a tutor who is always enthused by my work and challenges me to expand my skills all the time.
When I'm not silversmithing I make clothes mainly for myself for special occasions, but sometimes for close friends.
On top of all of that my partner and I are bikers and during the spring to autumn months attend several rallies and get extremely 'merry' ;-)
