Kathy St.Martin owned and operated two fine jewelry stores throughout the late 1980s to mid 1990’s with her ex-husband. Moving to central Pa in the late 1990’s Kathy worked briefly with master goldsmith John Mason (deceased) and national jewelry designer Sharon Teaman. It was Sharon’s teachings manner which stayed with Kathy when a few years later she started teaching jewelry classes in her bead shop. She earned her certification in PMC through Rio Rewards and PMC Connection in 2003 where she immediately began to incorporate her traditional jewelry bench methods into the new cutting edge silver clay materials. This, regular publication of techniques and works, and her original Gold on Glass techniques have pushed her into the serious teaching world.
