I live in the southwest burbs of Chicago with my husband and 2 kids, ages 4 and 2. My daughter, the 4 year old, has special needs. She has sensory integration issues, mild hypotonia (weak muscles), and apraxia of speech. We're thinking she's on the autism spectrum somewhere, but have no official diagnosis to that as of yet. My son, the 2 year old, is a chubby-cheeked, little ball of energy. He's an absolute sponge, and astonishes me daily with his cuteness. :) Hub is a heavy truck mechanic, and I work part time tending bar at the local VFW every other 2 Saturdays (does that make sense?). Phew! So that's me. :)
