I just wanted to ntroduce myself. My name is Rita and I am from Montreal.

I read many threads until I decided to say hello to you all.

I see many of your creations and they all look beautiful. I hope I can someday raise my creations to your level.

I've been beading for about 6 months since a collegue of mine introduce me to beading. So I am really a newbie. I learned a lot reading you and I already sold my first piece for a charity event at work. I was really surprised and happy that it went so fast since it was my second or third necklace. [:0]

I'm relatively new here, as well, and I can assure you that the people on this forum are friendly and incredibly creative and helpful. And the wealth of information they have is priceless. I, too, got my feet wet a few years ago by donating to a charity, and that experience was encouraging enough for me to do more.

Although I've sold a number of pieces, I haven't yet turned it into a profitable business (I buy way more beads, etc. than I sell), but I really love what I'm doing. And I get tremendous inspiration from the range of work on the sites here. So welcome, and have fun!
