    Working with leather thong???

I need to get some gemstone beads with big big holes that will thread through 6mm round leather. I am making chokers with fabulous gemstone pendants and want some rondelle-type beads to tie in with the pendant. Can anyone help?

6mm is a big hole for a gemstone rondelle. Your bead should be 10mm or so to have a thick enough beads to survive. We have some large hole gemstone beads made specifically for us at Rings & Things but none with that large a hole that I can think of. The closest would be 10, 15 or 20mm donuts.

Our large hole gemstone beads typically have a 2 to 2.5 or maybe 3mm hole. You can see them at http://snipr.com/1nwob

    Hi Stacey,

I have big holed beads for sale but none with that big of a hole in stone. I think the largest I have is 3mm. You can take a look here. http://tinyurl.com/yscdt7

I have a dear friend named African John that hand carves his own beads for your exact purpose. His work is wonderful and so is he. You can find him here.
