Kalmbach Publishing Co., publishers of Bead&Button, BeadStyle, and Art Jewelry magazines, is seeking authors with book proposals for our expanding beading and jewelry-making lines of books.

We are interested in hearing from artists, hobbyists, and professional designers who can present us with thoughtful, unique, “how-to” project book proposals in the following areas: beaded jewelry, bead stitching, wire work, basic metalsmithing, polymer clay, metal clay, and more. We prefer books that appeal to beginner and intermediate hobbyists, but are open to all proposals.

Projects must be entirely original and submitted with patterns and/or illustration drafts, step-by-step written instructions, and process shots as needed. Finished pieces should be available for shipping to our studio for additional lead (beauty) shots and cover photography.
