Russian Beadwork issue October 1998 #27

    Hello,
I've have enjoyed many years of your magazine. And have tried to get those past to do projects done. I've been beading for about 9 or 10 years, so I don't consider myself a beginner.
I have chosen to make the Russian Necklace in issue October 1998, # 27 pg. 62 by Alice Korach.
Alice maybe you can help me? My work looks good on the large leaf, up until step 5. After that I seem to have to many beads and there are no AC beads on one side. Would there be any article corrections for this necklace pattern? I've seemed to miss placed my #28 to see if there are any. I've tried to take pictures of what I'm doing but my camera won't take that close of a picture to see what I have done.
If any one else has done this necklace, Any input on this would be appreciated!
    Thanks
    Margaret (Mdizzy1@aol.com)

Dear Margaret, Yes, there was a correction to this pattern and you are stuck at exactly that point. Step 5 should read: Repeat step 4 (not 3) eight more times. I'm sorry about the typo or poor proofreading. The rest of the pattern should work for you. Best, Alice Korach
