In order to post images, you first need to have a place that will host your pictures. You may want to check with your ISP (Internet Service Providers - example: AOL, MSN, Earthlink, etc.). Most ISPs provide their customers with 5-10MB of space for the purpose of hosting personal web pages and pictures.
Once you have a host for your pictures, you will need the URL or the location/address of the image.
A URL looks something like this:
http://www.beadandbutton.com/bnb/images/bnbcover.JPG
To display the picture inside your post, copy the url (location of the image/photo) and place it within the

tags (without the spaces) around it.
If you're posting a new topic or replying to a topic (not via the Quick Reply at the bottom of the page) you should see a whole row of icons. One of the icons you'll see looks like this:

. Clicking on that icon will write out the forum code needed for adding images to your message. You can also type in the image tags. It doesn't matter which way their entered.
Example:
For a cover of Bead&Button, the image url (the location or address of the image is http://www.beadandbutton.com/bnb/images/bnbcover.JPG ).
To display this in the message, it would look like this:
NOTE: In the above examples - I've added a space between the "img" and the "]" (right bracket) to prevent this from being converted to an image.
Once I remove the spaces, this is what will happen:
I hope that helps. If there are any questions about something I wrote, let me know so I can work on clarifying the instructions.
