In case of any of you don't remember - I am the world's biggest "computer idiot".....

That being said - I think I will finally bite the bullet and get Photoshop Elements 5.0 so that I can get better pictures for my website. I downloaded the free trial and I am completely lost.

Does anyone know of a website that can teach the computer illiterate (like me) how to get started with this? I went to Adobe's forums and I felt like they were literally speaking another language! Layers? what in the heck are those?

Oh and Matt - if you are reading this - did you design your new cards using Photoshop? If so - is there a tutorial that you can point me to for that?

Also - can I compress my pictures using Photoshop so that they load faster on the website?

I beg to differ as I am the world's biggest technology idiot. However, having said that, I just checked out your website and I think your photos are great as they are. Very clear and detailed. Let me know if you figure out the photoshop. I just made an appointment with a professional photographer to take photos of my jewelry.
