blue and dangley.....just the way i like it!!!

i saw a pair of earrings, I don’t remember exactly where, but i fell in love with the design, but i didn’t care much for the color. So I made some similar in a light blue (of course blue!) based on what I remembered seeing. (This is where the other half of my blue fire polished beads went).

    Frost earrings-

Well!!! and a fine job you did, laura...I'd wear these in a heartbeat . Can I tell ya somethin'? It might look betta on a background that's NOT blue, eh? just a thought...don't mean to take away from the design...very pretty! [:)]

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can.

Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

thank you elly! thank you for your input, i figured a dark color would go with everything.this was the most solid background i could find, most of the things around my house have patterns.i will try looking for more.

Yep. I understand, laura...It takes awhile to figure out what background looks best with what jewelry, eh? I think, no matta what the color, it seems that the best background appears to be white. Have you checked out the past posts about "light tents?" and "photography?" I think you'll be amazed at how many home-made schtuff can look SO professional.....For now, I guess, it'll be in the "Archives." But, here's a few links: http://www.reasonableinsanity.net/community/[url] (you have to register)...

Although, my pix aren't that great (compared to others), I've found the best pix I can take are when the sun is down (on the other side o' the house), yet, I have enough light so that the camera doesn't need to use the flash. I, also, use the MACRO setting (that's the Exposure Mode), the EV comp = 2.0 or greater...IMAGE quality = HIGH. That's pretty much what my camera does...

Ya gotta experiment, my friend, and see what comes of it... [:)]

I agree with Elly about the colored background - and photography . . . I've found that if you have lights pointing at it from 3 different angles you won't have shadows (my problem most of the time) . . . these look kinda like some I've made before . . .

which were loosely based on these . . .

    and similar to these . . .

I do love yours though!! They are great!! I bet they look awesome when light hits them!! I LOVE sparkly stuff!!!
